Labeling Decoded: Navigating Regulatory Requirements in Confectionery Labeling

NCA is hosting a two-day hybrid workshop* to educate the confectionery industry on labeling regulations impacting the industry. Leading regulatory experts will provide an overview of the Biden Administration’s nutrition policy and a comprehensive review of U.S. labeling requirements.  

Experts will focus on: 

  • Mandatory labeling requirements (e.g., Nutrition Facts label, ingredient labeling, allergen labeling) 
  • Compliance 
  • Class Action Lawsuits
  • FTC Endorsement Guides
  • Upcoming labeling regulations (such as front-of-pack nutrition labeling and healthy)  

Participants will work through examples of different labeling scenarios. Specific topics such as California’s Proposition 65, consumer perception of allergen labeling and global front-of-pack labeling will be covered.
