Ferrara, Sony Team On Ghostbusters AR Game

Chicago — Ferrara Candy Co., Inc. is partnering with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on Haunted Candy Hunt, an augmented reality game featuring characters from the Ghostbusters franchise.

A first for the candymaker, consumers can visit ghosthuntntrap.com from a mobile device to play the game, which asks players to search their living rooms, kitchens and backyards in search of Slimer, a character in the 1984 feature film, as well as Sweeter the Ferrara Candy Ghost. Users can capture ghosts for the chance to win weekly prizes such as Hasbro, Inc. Ghostbusters Plasma Series and Keener Series action figures and the grand prize of a Sony home entertainment theater package.
