Hebron, KY — Galerie USA, LLC is appointing Ryan Schader president effective April 19. He will report to Rick Ross, CEO and owner of the company, and lead the company’s team on its path as a provider of innovative confectionery treats and gifts.
Schader comes to Galerie with 25 years of industry experience, most recently serving as chief sales and marketing officer of Jelly Belly Candy Co. He is an engineering graduate of Princeton and has a MBA from Stanford.
“Ryan has years of in-depth and hands-on experience in the candy business working for leading companies in the industry” says Ross. “Galerie has experienced sustained growth over the past several years and I am genuinely excited to be working with Ryan on Galerie’s continued expansion as a market share and brand leader.
“We have some fantastic new projects launching this year including a Mandalorian surprise product debuting in our hugely successful Finders Keepers brand, Fruit Loops gummies in the everyday aisle, and the reintroduction of Kellogg’s Cereal Straws to the U.S. market after a 12-year hiatus, which is attracting massive consumer excitement online,” Ross adds.
“I’m very excited to be brought on board to lead the next phase of growth and innovation at Galerie,” Schader says.
Schader will be taking over from Richard Reilly, who joined the company in 2017.
“I would also like to thank Richard Reilly for his leadership and expertise he brought to Galerie. His tireless commitment over the past four years has transformed Galerie into a greater company,” Ross says. “Also, I am pleased to announce that Richard will be joining Galerie’s Board of Advisors where he will continue his relationship with Galerie and have a hand in our strategic development.”
