New York — Tenet Healthcare Corp. and HCA Healthcare employees across the country were treated to more 600,000 pieces of Godiva chocolate as the company wanted to thank front-line workers. In addition to chocolates, the candymaker reports it has also donated coffee and other treats to healthcare workers.
“On behalf of Godiva chocolatiers around the world, I want to express our profound gratitude to the frontline hospital workers who are caring for our communities during this pandemic,” says Annie Young-Scrivner, Godiva CEO. “We are in awe of their courage and selflessness, and forever thankful to these heroes. Our hope is that our product donations will give them a moment of comfort and relief during some of the most difficult days of their lives.”
Godiva reports it has also sent packages to hospital workers, doctors and nurses in areas where the brand has a strong presence, including China, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, the UK, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
