Goldfish Offers Parents A ‘Tax Return’ To Settle Snack Debt

Camden, NJ — This tax day, Campbell Soup Co. is helping families settle their snack debt with the Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Parent Tax Return, a playful way to pay back all those Goldfish that ‘mysteriously disappear.’

Based on the idea that every parent knows that small “snack swipes” can add up over time. From backseat grabs to quick bites while packing lunch or a pantry handful here and there, it’s all part of the unofficial “snack tax.”

Starting at 4:15pm ET on April 15, parents can visit GoldfishParentTax.com to “file” their return by answering questions about their household snacking habits. Once submitted, they’ll find out if their family qualifies for a refund: two free bags of Goldfish crackers. Refunds will be issued while supplies last.

“This Tax Day, we’re giving parents a chance to come clean about those moments when a few Goldfish ‘mysteriously disappear,” says Mike Fanelli, senior director, Goldfish. “The Goldfish Parent Tax Return turns that everyday habit into a fun, shareable moment — and a reminder that Goldfish is the snack that kids love and parents love to sneak.”
