Kellogg Celebrates Gingerbread Pop-Tarts With Zillow Listing, Contest

Battle Creek, MI — This holiday season, The Kellogg Co. is offering consumers the chance to win $15,000 from its Pop-Tarts brand to use towards their home mortgage. 

Customers can enter by building a Pop-Tarts gingerbread house and posted a picture to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #GingerbreadPopTartEntry. The contest is inspired by new gingerbread-flavored Pop-Tarts, featuring white icing and nine printed designs.

“Rather than building the same quaint, cookie-cutter gingerbread houses this year, we hope families will consider a crazy good renovation instead,” says Heidi Ray, senior director of marketing, Portable Wholesome Snacks. “We are reintroducing Gingerbread Pop-Tarts to inspire a new era of gingerbread house building that’s modern, memorable, and most importantly, delicious. We hope the added incentive of the $15K prize will get fans into the spirit, the Pop-Tarts way.”

The company also teamed up with experts at Zillow Group, Inc. to list the first-ever Gingerbread Pop-Tarts house on the real estate marketplace. Located in the heart of Wild Berry Woods, the farmhouse is made out of an assortment of Pop-Tarts flavors including cookies n’ crème and chocolate fudge.
