Newark, NJ — Mars Wrigley U.S. LLC’s The M&M’s FUNd Advisory Council has been established to drive M&M’s brand programming of diversity, inclusivity and belonging around the world.
According to the company, the M&M’s FUNd was created with the intention of tracking the brand’s action against its refreshed purpose to create a world where everyone feels they belong. The fund offers resources, mentorship, opportunities and financial support in the arts and entertainment space.
The founding advisory council will include representatives from Coqual, Disability:IN, GLAAD, Global Belonging Collaborative, GroupM and PolicyLink. The advisors will convene several times a year to assess the company’s programs, quantify impact, provide counsel and further the mission through respective networks.

Since unveiling its purpose, M&M’s has been bringing its commitment to life across every touchpoint, including through product, digital offerings, content, in-store programs and consumer activations, according to the company.
Some examples include, new ad spots, M&M’s developed Projekt Open Mic in Germany, a #StreamingFemaleVoices Spotify playlist with $1 per stream donated to Women in Music, a continued partnership with the Bentonville Film Festival Foundation to offer a mentorship program to a diverse filmmaker and the launch of the M&M’s Comedy Spotlight platform in Australia.
