Irvine, CA — Morinaga America, Inc.’s “Save a (Chocolate) Bunny, Eat Hi-Chew” campaign, invites consumers to choose Hi-Chew chewy candy this Easter. The tongue-in-cheek campaign challenges the tradition of chocolate bunnies during the holiday.

Through the campaign, consumers can show their support by signing an online pledge to save countless chocolate bunnies, with up to 1,000 consumers winning Hi-Chew product and limited-edition campaign merchandise.

To kick off this campaign, the brand hit the street yesterday in New York with Hi-Chew Easter Bunnies handing out classic Easter eggs filled with the company’s iconic pillow packs. New Yorkers who signed the pledge on-site were rewarded with a HI-Chew Bites Easter Egg.

“From baskets full of delicious treats to Easter egg hunts that keep kids engaged, the Easter holiday is all about joy and spending time with loved ones,” says Teruhiro Kawabe, chief representative for the USA & president, CEO of Morinaga America. “Our new ‘Save a (Chocolate) Bunny, Eat Hi-Chew’ campaign is intended to encourage even more family fun this season, by giving consumers and brand fans a unique way to engage with Hi-Chew and our exciting new product offerings.”
