Washington — The National Confectioners Association has promoted Paul Kissin to the role of vice president of marketing & technology. Kissin, who has been with NCA for more than 10 years, previously served as senior director of marketing & web technology.

As a result of the move, Kissin joins NCA’s senior staff in an expanded role, overseeing marketing operations and leading the association’s approach to emerging technologies, data, and AI. He will also drive technology innovations that improve efficiency and strengthen engagement with NCA member companies and industry audiences.

“For more than a decade, Paul has played an important role in advancing how NCA uses cutting-edge technology to support our member companies and the broader confectionery industry,” says John Downs, NCA president & CEO. “Paul is a trusted and valued member of our team, and his forward-looking approach will continue to strengthen our organization and the value we deliver to the industry.”

Kissin’s promotion reflects his longstanding contributions to NCA’s continued investment in technology, data, and marketing capabilities that support the association’s strategic priorities and deliver value for its members, the association notes.
