Glenville, NY — A new soda line from startup Candy Lips is launching in five candy-inspired flavors: Peach Rings, Cotton Candy, Bubble Gum, Sour Gummy Worm, and Watermelon Gummy Slices. The company says it is embracing the newstalgic trend with the line, which is made in New York with cane sugar.
“We wanted to create a soda that tastes like your best childhood memories in a can,” says Ariel Chiang, chief sweet officer (CSO). “Everyone remembers their favorite candy growing up, and we’ve captured that flavor in a way that’s bold, refreshing, and deliciously drinkable. Close your eyes and be transported back to simpler times — they’re sweet, nostalgic, and made without artificial sweeteners.”
The product comes in cans the company says are designed to stand out on shelves with illustrations of the candies that inspired the flavors.
