Pape To Retire From J&J Snack Foods After 23 Years

Pennsauken, NJ — Industry veteran Bob Pape, who has spent the past 23 years with J&J Snack Foods Corp., is retiring effective January 3, 2022.  

Pape’s career includes more than 40 years in the food industry. During his tenure at J&J Snack Foods, he served in various roles, including national sales manager of retail, growing the company’s brands including Superpretzel and Luigi’s Italian Ice. As vice-president of retail and senior vice-president of sales and marketing, Pape oversaw the integration and acquisition of brands including Whole Fruit, Dogsters and Icee. According to the company, Pape led the go-to-market strategy for the retail, foodservice and bakery divisions.

In retirement, the company notes, Pape will be spending time with his family, focusing on charitable causes, playing golf and fishing.
