Bazooka Candy Brands is launching Crunchkins, a dessert-flavored bite size popper with a creamy coating on the outside and a light, crunchy center.
The three-ounce share pack contains a mix of three flavors: birthday cake, fudge brownie and glazed donut.
“Crunckins are a fun change of pace for the confectionery category,” says Nicole Rivera, marketing and innovations director for Bazooka Candy Brands. The first roll out in March was at Wal-mart Stores, Inc. locations nationwide with 7-Eleven, Inc. and other key retailers offering the product during wider distribution in June.
The company is supporting the launch with a national integrated marketing and promotional campaign including an animated television spot that began airing in March. The spot turns the eating experience into an explosive space adventure inspired by the flavors and textures of the candy.
Crunchkins have a SRP ranging from $1.38 to $1.50.
