SmartSweets Inc. is extending its line with caramels made with no added sugar alcohols, sugar or artificial sweeteners. According to the company, the individually wrapped product has one gram of sugar per bag and is naturally flavored. The plant-based caramels are gluten-free and available in 1.6-ounce peg bags that carry an SRP of $3.79. They ship six 12-ct displays per case.
