Chattanooga Bakery, Inc. and Finaflex are teaming up to introduce Power Pie, a new protein snack inspired by MoonPie cookies.
Power Pie is a milk chocolate-covered, non-GMO protein snack made with all-natural ingredients that sandwich two cookies together with a marshmallow filling. According to the company, each pie contains 14 grams of protein. Both chocolate and vanilla varieties are available, with more flavors being added in the future.
Launching at the same time is RYSE x MoonPie Loaded Protein powder, which contains 25 grams of protein per serving.
“We are extremely pleased with these collaborations,” says Tory Johnston, vice-president of sales and marketing for Chattanooga Bakery. “We carefully guard the integrity of our products, which Americans have known and loved for over 100 years. With the new Power Pie and Protein Powder products, Finaflex and RYSE have stayed true to the spirit of MoonPie.”
Finaflex CEO Kyung Kim says the introduction of Power Pie is a step forward for the company. “Finaflex is ready to show the world how delicious healthy eating can be and, thanks to Chattanooga Bakery and Lisa Marks Associates, a new audience will be introduced to our products,” he explains.
Individually wrapped 2.5-ounce Power Pie’s ship in 10-ct boxes and carry an SRP of $3.99 each, while 25-ounce containers of the protein powder have an SRP of $39.99.
