Chuao Chocolatier is extending its bar line with the introduction of Baconluxious bars made with with plant-based bacon.
The bar has been years in the making, the company says, noting it is working toward a more sustainable future. Owner and Co-Founder, Chef Michael Antonorsi note’s Chuao is on a mission to share joy with the world through chocolate and believes that in order to do so, no animal should be harmed in the making of its products.
This chocolate bar is Fair Trade Certified, kosher, has no gluten, is made in a peanut-free facility and packaged with recycled materials. Available in 2.8oz chocolate bars and .39oz mini chocolate bars.
The product, available in 2.8- and 0.39-ounce bars, has a splash of sweet maple syrup, smoked sea salt and crispy plant-based bacon bits in milk chocolate.
