Ferrara Candy Co., Inc. is launching a variety of new products from an assortment of its brands.
Laffy Taffy fruit combos are new. The individually wrapped mini bars are available in four flavor combinations: strawberry/kiwi, wildberry/banana, mango/passionfruit and strawberry/orange. Each piece also features a joke written on the wrapper. The 3.5-ounce bags have an SRP of $1.09, while six-ounce peg bags have an SRP of $2.19 and 12-ounce laydown bags have an SRP of $3.29.
Under the Black Forest brand are Smoothie fruit snacks made with real fruit juice. High in vitamins A, C and E, flavors include strawberry banana, pineapple mango and mixed berry. Each eight-ct carton contains 5.6-ounces of candy and has an SRP range of $2.40 to $2.75. The 18-ct boxes hold 12.6 ounces and have an SRP range of $4.75 to $5.50. Also available are 32-ct boxes that hold 22.4 ounces and have an SRP range of $8.50 to $9.75. The product will be available nationwide beginning in November.
Ferrera is also releasing Funables Twistables Triple Berry Twist that blends blueberry, raspberry and strawberry into one twisted candy rope. Each six-ct box has an SRP range of $2.25 to $2.75, while 12-ct boxes have an SRP range of $4.25 to $4.75 and the 24-ct packs have an SRP range of $7.35 to $8. It will be available nationwide starting May 2023.
Newly released from under the SweeTarts brand are Gummy Splitz — soft fruit-flavored gummies that split into two flavored sides. Flavors include Blue Punch, cherry, grape, orange, lemon and green apple. Both the three-ounce share packs and the three-ounce peg bags have an SRP of $1.79. Five-ounce peg bags have an SRP of $2.99 and nine-ounce bags carry an SRP of $3.49. Packs will be available nationwide starting in December.
