As a result of the success of Klondike Candy, chocolate bars that resemble the ice cream treats, Imaginings 3, Inc./Flix Candy is introducing Klondike Mini Bites. Available in chocolatey fudge and sea salt caramel, they come in reclosable six- ounce gusset bags. With a SRP range of $3.99 to $4.99, they ship in 12-ct cases and 24-ct shippers. The company is also debuting Marvel Avengers items in two novelty formats featuring Spider-Man, The Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America. Avenger Pop Ups feature characters’ faces that open to reveal strawberry pops when a button is pushed. They have a SRP of $1.69 or 2/$3. Marvel Avengers Light Up Candy Spinners are tubes filled with tart candy discs topped with character heads inside of a globe that spin and light up when a button is pressed. Holding 0.35 ounces of product, they have a SRP range of $3.99 to $4.99. Both Avengers items ship six 12-ct displays per case and are available in 48-ct shippers. The company reports Marvel will be providing advertising support in the run up to Avengers: Age Of Ultron, being released this coming May.
