Tortuga Spirit Cake Co. is adding Kentucky Bourbon Butter Cake to its Southern Trio line that also includes Tennessee Whiskey Spice Cake and Moonshine Apple Pie Cake. The product is made with aged Kentucky straight bourbon, which the company says offers smooth notes of faintly sweet oak.
The cakes are available in hexagonal gift boxes and come in three sizes: four ounces with an SRP of range of $7.99 to $9.99; 16 ounces with an SRP range of $19.99 to $22.99; and 32 ounces with an SRP range of $35.99 to $37.99. The company offers two floor displays, 48-ct units hold the four-ounce cakes, while 36-ct displays hold the 16-ounce cakes.
