Mars Snacking is expanding its Skittles lineup with Gummy Crystals, a new candy combining soft gummies with a coating of tangy, crunchy candy crystals. The new gummies come in two varieties. Original features strawberry, lemon, grape, orange, and green apple flavors, while Tropical Splash includes fruit punch, pink lemonade, mango melon, pineapple, and watermelon.
“Consumer-led innovation is at the heart of Mars Snacking, and the true magic of Skittles lies in delivering the unexpected,” said Ro Cheng, marketing vice president, Mars Snacking North America. “Skittles Gummy Crystals answers the growing demand for dynamic, multi-textured treats by pairing a soft gummy center with a crystal crunch — giving fans an entirely new way to experience the rainbow.”
The combination of gummi centers and crunchy crystals is designed to deliver two textures in each bite and taps into growing consumer interest in texture-focused candy experiences, according to the company.
The products will debut November 2 through a limited early-access bundle on TikTok Shop, followed by a broader rollout later this year and national expansion in 2027.
