Minneapolis, MN — Cookie maker Kakookies LLC is adding peanut butter chocolate chip products to its baked goods line.
The classic combination cookies are made with whole grains, superfood ingredients, gluten-free oats and have five grams of plant-based protein, according to the company. Additionally, the products are vegan, and dairy-, egg-, gluten- and soy-free.
“I wanted to pack the deliciousness and comfort of a cookie with the nutrition of an energy bar into a grab-and-go snack to help fuel busy and active lifestyles,” says Sue Kakuk, company founder.
The 1.41-ounce cookies have a SRP of $2.49 and ship in 12-ct cases. In addition to peanut butter chocolate chip, the line includes Boundary Waters Blueberry, cashew blondie and dark chocolate cranberry cookies.
