Tuscanini Baked Parchment Crackers Debut

Bayonne, NJ — Kosher food specialist Kayco is introducing Tuscanini Baked Parchment Crackers, paper-thin snacks imported for Sardinia, Italy, the company reports.

The OU Kosher baked items come in olive oil, olive oil rosemary and olive oil oregano, and are GMO free, made with five ingredients and have 120 calories per serving, according to Kayco. The crackers are made using re-milled durum wheat semolina, which is superior to other ground wheats and gives the products a unique flavor and crunch, according to Kimberly Cassar, vice-president of marketing.

“Consumers are looking for simple, yet sophisticated snack options,” Cassar says. “We know that crackers are found in 77 percent of U.S. households, and the demand by consumers is trending toward thinner, more healthy, yet delicious crackers.”

Coming in 3.5-ounce packs with a SRP of 2.99, they ship in 10-ct cases.
