Silberfarb, Mangold Promoted To VP Roles At Bazooka Candy Brands

 New York — Bazooka Candy Brands, a division of The Bazooka Cos. Inc. is promoting Rebecca Silberfarb to the role of vice-president of brand marketing Americas and Elizabeth Mangold becomes vice-president of ecommerce and innovation.

Silberfarb joined the company in 2016 as a senior brand manager and most recently held the position of senior director of marketing. During that time, she has led marketing across all brands in the Bazooka Candy portfolio. Core to her role has been leading brand strategy, positioning and integrated marketing communication plans, the company reports.

In her new role, she will oversee the continued growth of the organization’s marketing efforts as it expands with new audiences, new products and new markets. She will also oversee marketing efforts for Latin America. 

Silberfarb is actively involved with the NCA and was a member of the 2021 Young Professionals Network Future Leadership Program.

Mangold joined Bazooka Candy in late 2011 as an associate brand manager. She has held various roles in brand marketing, international, innovation and e-commerce, culminating in her most recent role of senior director of innovation and ecommerce marketing. She led marketing for Japan, helping to establish it as one of the company’s top international markets and developed many of the organization’s successful new products.

In her new role, she leads a cross-functional team in all aspects of the company’s ecommerce initiatives, as well as innovation strategy for the entire Bazooka Candy portfolio. 

Prior to joining the company, Mangold worked alongside the chief marketing officer and director of communications to rebuild the The New York Cosmos brand. Prior to The New York Cosmos, she worked in marketing roles at integrated advertising agency, Digitas and Digitas Health.
