NCA Launches Halloween Celebration with The Tommy Show

WASHINGTON – The National Confectioners Association is teaming up with The Tommy Show to bring the fun of Halloween treats to listeners in the Beltway and across the country. Join NCA on The Tommy Show any time between 7:00 AM on Monday, October 28, and midnight on Halloween night to hear special Halloween-themed music interspersed with tips from NCA on how to have a safe and mindful Halloween.

Listeners can tune into NCA’s four-day Halloween celebration on The Tommy Show App, or by asking their Alexa or Google Home to play The Tommy Show.

Programming for the collaboration will include tricks for treating, a fun and spooky rotation of music and special appearances from NCA discussing mindful enjoyment of chocolate and candy during the Halloween season.

In addition to celebrating the Halloween season with The Tommy Show, NCA is keeping consumers in mind with Halloween Central, a digital resource offering a variety of tools to help consumers understand the unique role that chocolate and candy can play in a happy, balanced lifestyle. As nearly 90 percent of parents use Halloween as a time to talk to their children about balance and moderation, the hub also includes resources to help navigate the holiday, along with important safety tips.

One of the DC metro area’s top shows, The Tommy Show provides Washingtonians with entertainment the whole family can agree on as hosts Tommy McFly and Kelly Collis live life out loud around the Beltway. Washingtonian Magazine named McFly and Collis the best radio personalities of 2018, and the Washington Post called them the ‘fun table at a wedding.”
